Let's start by saying that this is Mike's favorite place we have visited! He's so excited driving around seeing everything.

We had a late start today, I'm still afraid of our four legged neighbors so I'm not getting a ton of sleep. ;-)

  June 13: Vancouver, B.C. (Canada-A')
This morning we checked out and headed down to Pike's Place Market. Ahhh, just as I remember it 5 years ago. What a neat place; you can get amazing fresh flowers, any type of fish, vegetables, fruit, etc. Probably my favorite place to visit while in Seattle.

Off to Canada, A'!

  June 12: Seattle & Surprise #2
This morning we headed out very early and drove north of Seattle about 35 miles to: Mosquito Fleet Marina. Mike booked an all day tour of whale watching for us.

What a wonderful experience! We saw several "killer whales" and about 50 or so bald eagles. Two of the whales from

This morning we headed to the Pearl District in search of good place to eat breakfast. We ended up at this local restaurant/cooking store/cooking show set. Breakfast was ok. ;-)

Then we headed back downtown to check out more of the city. For lunch we found this great pizzeria, BJ's. We e

  June 9: Portland, OR
We started the day with a tour of a couple of Portland landmarks: the Japanese and Rose gardens in the Washington Park district. Both were nice as far as gardens go, but at $6.50/person I think next time I'll skip the Japanese garden.

Later we moved on to the downtown district and Pioneer
