Today when we woke up it was snowing a little bit outside. We got up made breakfast and had a couple cups of hot chocolate to get us going. Today we were going to try to finish the northern loop of the park.
Well the more north we got the more it started to snow. It was really coming down. It was hard to see much of anything, but we did pass several more bison. We made to the Mammoth Hot Springs and actually ventured out into the snow to view them. Pretty amazing how all the hot springs our located mainly in this one area.
After seeing what we could see of the north loop we headed back to Canyon Village for some hot showers and a warm dinner inside. After we got done eating the snow had stopped so we headed back to camp and shook off all the snow from the tent, built a rockin fire, and relaxed.
Still can't believe how much it snowed, not to mention it's the second of day of summer.
