What makes us think we're special enough to warrant our own site?

Welcome to our site! Our hope is to share with you our experiences from "The roads less traveled".

Mike and I (Amanda) met 9 years ago at Auburn University "War Eagle" and from day one we have been talking about traveling, exploring, and experiencing. Recently we realized all the pictures we have in our apartment are scenes of nature, most of which we've never had the opportunity to see in person, and instantly our planning began.

Currently Mike is a computer programmer, with a company he has been was with for 5 years, and I'm working as a sales support assistant for a wonderful company. We've been wanting to take this trip for some time now, and with school behind us, some experience under our belt, no house payment, and no one else to take care of, except each other, we feel like the time is right for us! We're leaving our current lives behind, at least for the next six weeks, and finally taking the time to journey down the roads less traveled.
